Description
The Lee County Center for the Arts (LCCA) invites Hispanic artists—preferably Texas-based—to apply for a special juried art show in celebration of Hispanic culture and creativity. This vibrant indoor exhibition will take place during the annual Giddings Fiesta, an outdoor community-wide event that draws over 3,000 attendees in one day.
Artist Information:
• Open to Hispanic artists working in all visual art media, including (but not limited to): painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber, and mixed media.
• Preference will be given to works that celebrate Hispanic culture, heritage and experiences.
• Artists will be provided with a 8'x8' booth space
• No tables or walls provided, but chairs are available.
• Display materials must be freestanding; no hanging or adhering items to the building
• Set-up required the evening before or early morning of the event (completed before 10AM day of event).
• Tear Down can be done the evening of the event, or the next day before 3PM
• Artist vendor fee is $50, due upon acceptance
To Apply: Submit the following by July 15, 2025:
• A short artist bio
• A minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 digital images of your original work that you would like to display
• A short description of each piece, including the inspiration behind it.

This is the first event so there is no determination of the anticipated number of submissions we will receive by the deadline to submit.
No forms of mass production are permitted.
Jurors will view images on a computer monitor
Each artist is scored by jury members on a scale of yes-no-maybe in the first round, creating a ranked group of artists deemed qualified to advance to the second round after reviewing submitted images and Artist Statements.
