Shippensburg University's 48th Annual Student Exhibtion
Step 1 - Register
Register with your Ship email address (@ship.edu); a confirmation email will be sent to you. Note: Other email addresses are ineligible.
Step 2 - Submit
Submit up to 5 pieces of art (entries can be changed - until the Submission End Date, Friday, April 7, 2026 at 11:59 pm.Each submission requires an accompanying .jpg photo upload (maximum width/height 2800px)
Step 3 - Deliver
ONCE notified of your acceptance (on or before April 20, 2026), deliver your artwork to Kauffman Gallery April 27 and 28 during gallery hours. Note: Entries not submitted to this site are ineligible for the exhibit.
This juried exhibit is selected by jurors outside of the Shippensburg University community. Shippensburg University undergraduate students may submit up to five pieces of their finest art for a real world competition. Jurors select both the exhibit and the award winners. Media found in this exhibit includes: Ceramics, Digital Fine Art Printing, Drawing, Graphic Design, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture.
This exhibition is sponsored by the SU Minds@Work Conference, an annual event that features the research and creative achievements of undergraduates and graduate students from all disciplines.

Size Limitations:
There are no size limitations for this exhibition other than the art must fit through the doors of the Kauffman Gallery
Display specifications:
All submitted 2-D Artwork (unless on a stretched canvas) must be framed with a WHITE or BLACK mat, and matting materials. All framed work must have a braided hanging wire.
Submissions Requirements:
All submitted artwork must have been completed with-in the last year (since April 2025).

The following categories are eligible for this exhibition: Ceramic & Glass, Design, Digital Art, Drawing, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture. A description of each category is found at the end of the Terms and Conditions page.
A Few Important Notes :
Original work is defined as inventive, creative, and highly distinctive. Do not submit copies, reproductions or duplications of previously printed materials, online images, art, or photographs. If the work is not for sale, give a value - followed by NFS. Value on submission may not be changed. The Kauffman Gallery will not take a commission on sales from this exhibition. The Kauffman Gallery and Shippensburg University reserves the right to photograph works for publicity and future advertising purposes. Entry in the exhibition will constitute agreement to the terms and conditions described herein.
